LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.
Holistic living advice for women who want to live well through 30's, 40's and 50's.
Skipping breakfast, Googling weight loss tips, wondering why I can't sleep and feeling irritated all the time is NOT the best use of your time.
Look, I see you, trying to grab the right “healthy” snack to energize you in between zoom meetings, soccer practice, housework etc. I know that you’ve taken a turn down the organic aisle at the grocery store hoping to find the next miracle food that will taste good AND help you lose the extra weight, or at least not make you bloated. At the end of the day, after all of your efforts, you end up reaching for the wine, sweets or popcorn, wondering: “How am I going to get out of this cycle?!" "When can I finally feel like myself again?!?" and, "Did I poop today?”
I’ve been where you are.
I felt that frustration again and again as 2pm rolled around and I hit a wall. I felt drained, exhausted, bloated and irritable, (moody doesn’t even begin to describe the emotional rollercoaster I was on.) And the worst part: I thought I was doing everything right! I was checking all the boxes:
☑ Not eating starchy carbs
☑ Restricting sugar
☑ Chugging water and
☑ Training hard at the gym, 6 days a week.
So why can’t we, as women, get ahead or actually start to feel better?
Looking at your health and wellness from a holistic standpoint, and focusing on food as fuel can make a WORLD of a difference!
You should not need a magic wand in order to:
Feel great, look great or
have a ton of energy!
(and I’m talking all month long, even during your period!)
You deserve to eat great tasting food, have consistent energy, to feel confident, sexy and vibrant every single day! As women, we are often told that the way we feel is all in our head, or it is just a part of being a woman, or that on paper everything looks fine...
Board Certified, Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Culinary Expert (Hons)
Hi, I'm Marissa Sylvester,
After being persistent, advocating for myself, heading back to school to become a Board Certified Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and doing extensive research, I was able to figure out what was making me feel so incredibly “off,” and I am doing the work to fix it! My journey inspired me, it lit a passionate fire within me to help other women feel the same.
It is now my duty to help you in 3 Ways:
Advocate for you. The problem is not in your head. Just because you are a woman doesn’t mean you need to experience: horrible PMS, mood swings and all the things with all the feels. This is not just a normal part of being female.
Educate you: I am not just a Holistic Nutritionist, Culinary Nutritionist and Wellness Coach. I am an educator and content creator, whose mission is to help as many women as I can.
Supporting you: I have a successful Holistic Nutrition practice in Ontario, where I support women one-on-one, and I have an online membership where I deliver: meal plans, food and lifestyle resources and group coaching.

Kind Words from Camryn D.
“Not only is Marissa a kind, compassionate human being who only wants what is best for her clients, but her knowledge when it comes to holistic health and nutrition has inspired me to challenge myself on a daily basis. Through this, I am now able to do what is best for me and my body. Every person’s body is different, and throughout my experience with her, it was very easy for me to be open and honest with how I was feeling.
Marissa is always ready to give feedback on what I could improve on in certain aspects and areas of my life and always reminded me to stay positive. I have learned through her that there is always room for adjustment, and that the goals I want to achieve and the lifestyle I eventually want to lead take time and patience in order to get there.
However, Marissa will guide you every step of the way and the journey begins when the first step is taken. Thank you Marissa for changing the way I look at my health both mentally and physically. I will continue to carry the knowledge I have with me for the rest of my life!”
